About the R-BASE (Resource Database)
Center for Animal Resources and Development (CARD)
Kumamoto University was established in 1998 as a core center for production, cryopreservation,
and supply of genetically engineered mice.
The new building was completed in 2000 and we started to construct the database for cryopreserved embryos.
As an international repository and distribution center for genetically engineered mice,
the CARD accept mice on a "first come - first serve" basis without any charge.
In addition, we can supply frozen embryos or mice at the price listed in the homepage payable in Japanese currency .
Please read information and send an order form that can be obtained from our homepage.
